Meet the Team
The main point of contact for event queries, Kim has 22 years’ experience in organising and running high-profile equine events. As Equine Director at Bishop Burton, she organised the FEI Pony European Championships in 2010, has led the organising committee for the College’s Horse Trials for the past 11 years and is British Showjumping and British Dressage Organiser for the college.
Catherine joined Bishop Burton College in 2013 and is the Equine Administrator. She is the secretary for the events held at Bishop Burton College, as well as the Lincolnshire Horse Trials. She was part of the team for the FEI European Championships for Juniors in 2014 and will be supporting the organisation of the FEI Pony European Championships in 2018, from receipt of entries through to prize giving.
Medical Veterinary and Emergency Services Link
Hannah leads the yard team at Bishop Burton. She will work across all college teams to co-ordinate different aspects of their work, from accommodation and transport to provision of support.
Linzi is the college's Assistant Yard Manager. During the 2010 championships she co-ordinated preparation of stables, arrivals and departures and supplies and deliveries. Linzi, in close co-ordination with Hannah Ward, will be responsible for stable security, 24-hour team organisation and monitoring.
Lindsey is the Curriculum Leader for Equine at the Bishop Burton College. She is the Showjumping Steward for Bishop Burton’s British Eventing competitions and fulfilled the same role at the FEI Pony European Championships in 2010.
Sarah-Jayne has been working at Bishop Burton College as an Equine Lecturer since 2006. She has a background in showing and was also Dressage Steward at the Pony Europen Championships held at the college in 2010.
Monica Zetterqvist Sheppard

Monica is an instructor at the college and has many years of experience of FEI competitions, both at the college and abroad. She will ensure the dressage teams have everything they require, both before and during the championships.
Alison manages and co-ordinates all hospitality for international shows and events hosted on campus. Responsible for 400 bedrooms, five catering outlets and a number of mobile catering vehicles, Alison provides a high-quality service during events. From fine dining courtesy of the college’s Executive Chef, to bed and breakfast and everything in between, Bishop Burton’s guests are always accommodated.
Press and Media Manager
David has worked at Bishop Burton since 2014, securing local, regional, national and international coverage for the college. He has worked in the media industry for over 12 years and will play a key role in managing the press and maximising coverage of the event.
